First i did some research on how logo design has changed throughout the deacdes ranging from colour to style. I looked at logos from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s and 2010s. I found that my favourite style was the 60s/70s look as i like the coulourful nature of them and the swirly pattern. I also like the colours and patterns of the 90s.

I then had ago and making some logos for my company that were inspired by the decade logos on the page before it. My favourite out of these was the top right one inspired by the 60s although it can be hard to read so is not the most pratical and also the bottom right one which was inspired by the 2010s although i dont think any of these logos are suitable for the brand so i will keep design and doing more itterations.

I also added a section on the previous page explaing low and high budget ice creama and how there typography and style shows this.

This is a excellent work, although you're developing some clever ideas based on the logos that you've found, remember to do the process of iteration, whereupon you take one of your ideas and push it as far as it can reasonably go. At least a page of multiple iterative stages and adjustments in media, etc. before the idea finishes. Do this practice in the designs you have, as the process of iteration is the way forward ..

Keep up the really good work
