First i followed a tutorial on adobe after effcts. Adobe After Effects is a digital visual effects, motion graphics, and compositing application developed by Adobe Systems and used in the post-production process of film making, video games and television production. I learnt a range of motion graphic skills that i can use to possibly create a digital animation campaign for environmental awarenessand climate change.
I then did research on vector bitmap. Bitmap file displays small dots in a pattern that can be viewed from afar to craete an overall image. I then lookedat the differneces between photoshop and illustrator.
Using this knowledge of photoshop i created my own typeface bt printing out a word and ripping it up - then sticking it back together and scanning it back into photoshop. I can use this skill in creating typefaces for future campaign pieces.
I then researched a ballon exhibition at Somerset house by signal noise. In 2016 signal noise did a free walk in exhibition where people were asked how far they agree with a statement about social media using your personal information. This could be used as inspiration for my FMP as i could look into doing and interactive exhibition linked to the environment.
I then created a grunge type poster by following an illustartor tutorial to prove that tect itself can become text as image. This reminds me of urban environments of cities and towns.
Next i did reseacrh on Galls law - a complete system that works invariably found to have evolved from a simple sytem that worked. This research tought me the importance of iteration (the act of repeating a process) which i can use in my future designs.
Finally i have done research on ALexander Rodchenko and the russian revolution. This is futher research on russian constructivism as he was a russian artist and one of the founders of constructivism design. I can look at the examples of this art in my future designs for my FMP of environmental concern.
