AOPP: Roy Lichtenstein research and Money Heist

First i did some research on another pop artist - Roy Lichtenstein. His work is very cartoony, resembling comic book art.

During Coronavirus Lockdown, one thing i did more of was watching Tv shows. I came across the spanish crime drama 'Money Heist' on Netflix. It was clear that a lot of others also did the same as me as it went on to break records and became the most watched show during lockdown.

Inspired by Roys work i have created this mask design by combining his techniques with the money hesit salvador dali masks. The use of masks also link to the pandemic. Inspo from: Crying girl 1663, Whaam! 1963 Drowning Girl 1963.

I then created some logo redesigns of the money heist logo inspired by the pop art words used in Roy Lichtensteins work.

Next i created a design for the back of the ping pong bat. It is a drawing of the professor (one of the main characters) in the pop art style - inspired by Roys work. I have added blue to his hair as in all of Roys work the men a represented by having dark hair with blue in it.
